Does the IRS keep calling you?

Posted: February 3, 2016, 2:05PM

Most likely NOT.  Scams target people of all ages.  Scammers don't care if you have no money or if you are having difficulties.  They want your personal information.  They want you to send them money.  Do NOT fall for these gimmicks!  The IRS is not going to call you.  They will not ask for your personal information.  They will not send the sheriff to arrest you.  Scammers WILL call you and they will ask for your personal information and they will threaten to send law enforcement.  Check out our January February 2016 newsletter posted on our website.  There are several scams listed as well as tips on what to do if you get one of these calls.  Be cautious. Don't talk to the scammer - don't even answer the phone.  Don't give someone the opportunity to take advantage of you!
