Seniors? Mature adults? Senior citizens?
Posted: March 24, 2015, 11:34AMAs I achieved an aging milestone, I came to the realization that I really don't like "senior citizen", "mature adult", or many other tags that we are given. But - what do I want to be called? Our tsunami of Baby Boomers is rushing onward with Boomers coming of age by the thousands. We have grown up with the aforementioned terms, and now that I'm there, I don't like them! I'm looking for your input, readers. How do we identify our aging citizens and how do we identify OURSELVES as aging citizens...knowing that labels are not an ideal but also knowing that we WILL be labeled!
