CREATING YOUR ADVANCE DIRECTIVES

It's Healthcare Decisions Month! 

Do you have your Advance Directives completed?  Do you know what Advance Directives are?  Do you understand how Advance Directives benefit you if you are unable to speak for yourself?

Everyone (Yes - EVERYONE) needs to have their Advance Directives completed.  Medical Powers of Attorney give authority to your agent to carry out your medical wishes.  Living Wills offer your wishes for end-of-life care when you are unable to speak for yourself.

Robert Kolb, MSW, of Valley Hospice will be with us to explain what these documents mean, and will also help our participants complete their documents and notarize them.

The free program will be held on April 19 at First Christian Church, 1343 National Road, Wheeling in the downstairs Fellowship Hall from 1pm-3pm with sign in starting at 12:30pm.

Refreshments will be served and parking is available.
