HELPING VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES PROCESS THEIR WAR EXPERIENCE

Bethany College, Valley Hospice and Altenheim Resource Services are bringing you a FREE program with two continuing education credit hours for social workers.  Lunch is included.  The program will be held on Friday, December 8 at Liza's Place in Wheeling.  Lunch will be served from 12noon - 1pm and the program will run from 1pm - 3pm.

John Looney, LICSW, BCD, Director of the Wheeling Vet Center will offer information on how veterans and their families are impacted by the compat experience, what to expect upon their return and discharge from the military, and how to assist them with processing their experiences in combat.  This session will fulfill the new licensing requirement for work with veterans.
