NATIONAL HEALTH CARE DECISIONS DAY PROGRAM

Bob Kolb, Valley Hospice, will be presenting a program on the importance of health care decisions and the need for everyone to complete their Medical Power of Attorney and Living Will.  The program will be held from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm (sign in at 1:30 pm) at First Christian Church, 1343 National Road, Wheeling WV in the downstairs Fellowship Hall.  Bob will have Advance Directives forms for participants to complete, and Bob can assist with the documents after the program. 

Bob will explain what a Medical Power of Attorney is, what authority is granted to the agent and when the authority can be implemented.  Bob will also explain what a Living Will is, what it means to the person who is expressing his/her wishes and the scope of the document.

Join us.  No matter how old you are, it is important to have your health care decisions expressed in case you are are unable to speak for yourself!
