How do you deal with scammers?

Posted: May 30, 2025, 8:37AM

Scammers are everywhere.  They try to get you through calls, texts, emails, your computer, and even "visits" to your home.  Nothing is off-limits for people who want to get your money and your personal information.

The Federal Trade Commission has tips on avoiding scams.  The Better Business Bureau offers advice to consumers as well.  The U.S. Department of State provides travelers with guidance on foreign travel safety.

But - people still fall prey to scammers.

Jim Browning (not his real name) works to scam the scammers and expose them.  Check out his YouTube video.

How do you deal with scammers?  Do you hang up on them?  Do you string them along?  Tell us how you deal with those pesky people that just want your money or personal information.
