Military Romance Scams

Thank you to all who have served and are serving in our military to keep us free.  Thank you for fighting for our democracy!

It is timely to remind people that there are scammers out there who will pose as a member of our military or a veteran.  They will tell potential scammees that they are stuck in a country.  Maybe they can't afford medical care for their family or for themself.  Perhaps they say they owe taxes and can't leave wherever they are.

Before you get scammed and lose money, check out this website that offers some tips and red flags on spotting scammers.  Another site offers tips on how to avoid getting scammed.
