Ohio County Flooding

Posted: June 18, 2025, 2:30PM

Our hearts go out to everyone who has been affected by this tragic event.  There are many area organizations offering food and hot meals, cleaning goods, personal care items, water, and more.  Thank you to everyone who is helping.

A few things to keep in mind:

Please don't go sightseeing.  Responders and emergency personnel are working to clear the area, and they don't need to work around sightseers.  Be respectful of those who have lost so much.

Some areas have road closures, limited travel lanes, and infrastructure damage. Plan your routes.

If you can, donate supplies:  Towels, blankets, pet food, shelf-stable foods, flashlights, batteries, shovels, antibiotic ointment.  Check with organizations to see what is needed.

Remember:  This is going to be a long-term recovery effort.  People need a lot of help now, and they will need help later.

This is our community.  These are our families, our friends, our neighbors.  We will be there to help.
