Wheeling Parkinson's Disease Support Group

Hoping to meet a community need, a support group for those with Parkinson's Disease and their families has been started in Wheeling. 

The first meeting of the Wheeling Parkinson's Disease Support Group was held on September 26 at Family Service Upper Ohio Valley (Ohio County Senior Center). Those who attended had the opportunity to get to know one another and share their experiences.  We discussed the group's interests and potential topics for speakers.  A newsletter will be shared with the group and additional resources will be available.

The group will meet on the 4th Friday of the month at 10:30am at the Ohio County Senior Center, 2200 Main Street, Wheeling.  (Park on the right-side lot and come in the conference room door.

Our next meeting will be on October 24.

The support group is open to those with Parkinson's Disease and their caregivers.
