"Planning for Long-Term Care Medicaid in WV:  An Overview of Long-Term Care Medicaid and Legal Concerns" will be offered by Altenheim Resource Services and Family Service - Upper Ohio Valley on Monday, April 27, 2026 at 10:30am. 

The program will be presented by Kathy Fisher, Long-Term Care Medicaid Supervisor, with the WV Department of Human Services and Ryan Rokisky, Elder Law Attorney, with Rokisky, McCune, Wilharm, Blair, & Risovich PLLC.

What documents are needed to apply for long-term Medicaid?  When should an application be made for someone who is to be placed?  What counts as assets?  Is there a look-back period?
