THE IMPACT & OPPORTUNITIES OF MEDICATION ADHERENCE

Jason Turner, Pharm D, owner of Moundsville Pharmacy, will present the topic on September 17 from 9am - 11am at the Altmeyer Funeral Chapel on Grant Avenue in Moundsville.

Dr. Turner will focus on medication adherence and what it looks like in the community pharmacy.  He will also describe the use of medication use quality in the Medicare Star Ratings program.  We will learn about barriers to medication adherence in the home, techniques for identifying and counseling on medication adherence, and best practices in utilizing technology to maximize medication management.

Bethany College will be offering two (2) CEU credits for social workers (490052) and Altenheim Resource Services will offer two (2) CEU credits for nurses (formerly WV 2003 0431 RN, now CE 50-26174) through the WV Board of Licensed Professional Nurses.
